Trade Policy

This Trade Policy describes how trading, deposits, withdrawals, and related risks work on the Tidel Trading platform (the "Platform"). It supplements, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service. By placing a trade on the Platform, you agree to this Trade Policy.

1. Supported Assets

Tidel Trading supports trading in a defined list of cryptocurrencies, as shown on the Platform at any given time. The list of supported assets may change without prior notice, including the addition or removal of specific coins or trading pairs.

2. Funding Your Account

Trading on Tidel Trading is funded exclusively through cryptocurrency deposits. We do not accept card or bank-based funding of any kind. Deposits are credited to your account only after the required number of confirmations on the relevant blockchain network, and processing times will vary depending on network congestion and are outside Tidel Trading's control.

3. Order Execution

Orders placed on the Platform are executed based on real-time market pricing available to Tidel Trading at the time of execution. Due to the speed and volatility of cryptocurrency markets, the price at which an order is actually executed may differ from the price displayed immediately before the order was placed ("slippage"). Tidel Trading does not guarantee execution at any specific price and is not liable for differences between expected and actual execution prices arising from normal market movement.

4. Market Volatility and Trading Risk

Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile and can move significantly within short periods of time, including outside of standard business hours. You acknowledge that:

  • trading cryptocurrency carries a substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor;
  • you are solely responsible for your trading decisions and for monitoring your open positions and account balance;
  • Tidel Trading does not provide investment, financial, or trading advice, and any market data, charts, or information displayed on the Platform is for informational purposes only; and
  • you should only trade with funds you can afford to lose.

5. Withdrawals

Withdrawal requests are sent to the wallet address you specify. You are responsible for ensuring the address and network you select are correct; Tidel Trading cannot recover funds sent to an incorrect or incompatible address. Withdrawals may be subject to review, network fees, and processing times that vary based on blockchain conditions and internal security checks. Tidel Trading reserves the right to delay or decline a withdrawal where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, account compromise, or a violation of our Terms of Service.

6. Trading Fees

Fees applicable to trades, deposits, or withdrawals are disclosed on the Platform at the time of the transaction and may be updated from time to time. Any change to our fee schedule will apply to transactions made after the change takes effect.

7. Prohibited Trading Activity

You may not use the Platform to engage in market manipulation, wash trading, front-running, exploitation of pricing errors or system vulnerabilities, or any other practice intended to obtain an unfair advantage or disrupt fair and orderly trading. Tidel Trading may investigate suspicious trading activity, and may cancel trades, freeze balances, or suspend accounts where such conduct is reasonably suspected, pending investigation.

8. System Availability and Errors

Tidel Trading will use reasonable efforts to keep the Platform available and to display accurate pricing, but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for losses arising from system downtime, latency, connectivity issues, or third-party network failures. In the event of a clear technical or pricing error (for example, a price feed malfunction resulting in an execution price far outside the actual market range), Tidel Trading reserves the right to cancel or adjust the affected trade to reflect fair market value.

9. No Investment Advice

Nothing on the Platform constitutes investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. You are solely responsible for evaluating any trade before you place it and, if needed, should seek independent professional advice.

10. Force Majeure

Tidel Trading is not liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to blockchain network failures or congestion, internet or infrastructure outages, acts of government, or other force majeure events.

11. Governing Law

This Trade Policy is governed by, and will be construed in accordance with, the laws of the United Arab Emirates, consistent with our Terms of Service.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Trade Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our trading operations or applicable law. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date and take effect upon posting.
